5 Players Who Could Win the European Golden Shoe in the 2019/2020 Season

Posted on 11 August 201929 August 2019 by admin

When a season in football is close to its end, then all sorts of bets become available. Once the favorites to win the Golden Boot, for example, are highlighted by popular magazines and websites, bookmakers make sure to have such special bets available. People will do their research and bet on some of those footballers. Bookmakers will entice punters with promo codes, like this Betfair promo code 2019, in order to get them to join in.

But, like with every season, it comes to an end and the Golden Boot must be awarded to somebody. Here are the favorites to win it in the 2019/2020 season.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane is one of those footballers who can hold his own in clutch moments. He was one of the best players on the 2018 FIFA World Cup and is looking to be a strong candidate to get a Golden Boot. His 17 goals in 28 matches is a great score and Kane might be among the finalists who can win the Shoe.

Mohamed Salah

Salah plays for Liverpool, and has scored a blistering 32 goals in 36 matches, which is a lot. He is close to Messi in this regard. Being relatively young, he can still score many more goals, and provide Messi with much needed competition. Even though some would argue Ronaldo is Messi’s competitor for the Golden Boot, it is not so this season.

Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero plays for Manchester City and is one of the finest scorers ever. Despite his very good record he managed to win only a single Golden Boot. Given that he had quite a good season, Aguero is looking like he might win his second golden boot. He is at the top of the list, so he might take another Boot home.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal’s top scorer is looking really good and he might be well on his way to winning his second Golden Boot. His season for Arsenal was phenomenal and he is often being talked about in the same conversation with Salah for being one of the strongest candidates to win the Boot.

Raheem Sterling

Another Manchester City player with an impressive score of 32 goals across two seasons, he is looking like a very good candidate for the Golden Boot. It is going to be against some really good players, but that is true for the rest of the players on the list.

These are the candidates to win the 2019/2020 Golden Boot. They are the most likely ones, at least, given that there are different predictions based on different criteria. Everyone wants their favorite player to win.
