There are many aspects of football that many people find thrilling. But the majority will say – Goals! Without a doubt, spectacular long-distance shots, headers or last-minute equalizers are what make this game so good. However, more sometimes does equal better.

The 9-1 game will not only be remembered by the fact that Tottenham got their most decisive victory in the Premier League, nor by the fact that Wigan also suffered their most devastating loss in the EPL. An added interesting fact is that Jermain Defoe scored five goals in the game, becoming just one of five players in the history of the Premier League to do so.
Manchester United vs Arsenal 8-2 (Aug. 2011)
This is probably one of the most favorite games for the fans of the Red Devils. Wining against Arsenal is always sweet. But winning in such a spectacular fashion is unforgettable. It seemed that Arsene Wenger’s men did not want to do anything with the game that day.
Rooney scored a hat-trick while Ashley Young bagged two. One of them even came late in the 91st minute of the game as a cherry on top.
Arsenal vs Newcastle 7-3 (Dec. 2012)
This time around, the Gunners were firing on all cylinders. In a 10-goal affair against the Geordies, Theo Walcott bagged a hat-trick, with two more coming from Giroud. Newcastle tried to fight back but what they only managed was to keep the scored leveled for a brief period at the halftime mark.
WBA vs Manchester United 5-5 (May 2013)
This was probably one of the most exciting games in Premier League history. Just 10 minutes before the final whistle, Manchester was comfortably ahead by 5-2. But in a span of five minutes, everything changed. Mulumbu scored once and Lukaku twice with the equalizer coming in the 86th minute of the fixture.
