Fun and Useful Apps for Football Fans

Posted on 27 April 20197 March 2023 by admin

Football is the most popular sport in the world. Football fans love their sport with a passion. This can usually be seen at the World Cup, when teams face off one another and you hear the crowd chanting the entire time. Some fans organize into groups and go to pubs to see a screening of a game which they are unable to attend. They are as passionate as the fans at the event, you just don’t get to see or feel their energy. You might hear them cheering as you pass by the pub.

Football fans also love applications, as they are, as most people, often moving around and love using phones for instant access. Here are some fun and useful apps for football fans.

BBC Sport

This one should be self-explanatory. BBC is one of the leading networks when it comes to broadcasting and news. Their application is versatile and does not update you on news regarding football, only. Even though, as a football fan, you would likely want to know all you can about your favorite teams, this application can update you on other sports, should you feel the urge to be informed. It is, of course, available on Android and iOS.

Livescore

The name says it all. Do you want to get updated on match scores? If yes, then this is the app for you. It will tell you what you want to know about a certain match that is in progress at the time of accessing the app. It also has team lineups and other statistics if you want to dive a bit deeper.

New Star Soccer

It will bring a smile to your face. It has, certainly, on many people’s faces, especially those which awarded it with a BAFTA. The game is a manager and a standard football game. You get to create your own football superstar, well, at least they might become one if you train them hard enough and make sure that they play well in and out of the game. You have to go to interviews, keep up with friends and family, otherwise your player will end up being miserable. It is a comprehensive game, one which you will be hard-pressed to dislike if you are a football fan.

Top Eleven

Want something with a more modern look? Top Eleven is considered to be the best mobile football manager. With a good reason as the game was backed by Jose Mourinho. The game features modern graphics and everything you want in a manager, but a mobile one. Available on both the Android and iOS systems, it is a game for every football manager lover.

These are some of the best and most interesting applications a football fan can download on the two dominant mobile systems. The applications will either inform you of the latest news or provide you with a distraction during half time breaks.
